The 2004 Presidential primary
season began with the Iowa caucuses in January, and the nominations were
virtually locked up by Super Tuesday. John Kerry will challenge George Bush
in the general election--Bush has been tempting fate, as the presidents elected every twenty years since 1840 have
died in office (the so-called "20-Year
Jinx"), with the exception of Ronald Reagan, who survived an
assassination attempt in 1981. A number of the presidents who died in
office did so during their second term...
